Data, data everywhere and not a drop to drink....

Updated: Nov 4, 2021

Welcome to Data Doyenne.

Hello,

Why am I here?

Just like all of you I've suffered through years of seeing people take data and either misinterpret it or not ask the right questions to get to the answers they need.

I get it. There is so much information that it can be overwhelming. There are so many questions:

-Where do I find data?

-How do I know the data I've found is good? (Help me with sources!)

-How do I read and interpret the data I do find?

-How do I know if it's enough?

-What questions should I be asking? Am I asking the right questions?

-Once I think I've got it, what do I do with it?

-How do I share it? How do I visualize it?

-When am I finished?

Those are just a few of the common questions I hear and I've asked myself. I hope through this website, podcast and classes that I am able to help you answer these and other questions. I hope you feel comfortable reaching out and engaging in conversation. I hope you correct me if I'm wrong (hey, it happens). I hope you can also own your own errors. I hope you learn to share your data and insights.

Let's go on this data journey together.

My hope is to share information via a weekly podcast (starting April 1 - April Fool's Day - that's pretty apropos), on this website and through classes. Any information I reference in the podcast will be shared here.

Do you have ideas or data you want me to look at? Reach out. I love poring over data. Sad, but true.

Also expect a sense of humor. Data can be dry, dry, dry, but it doesn't have to be. Have fun.

As a note, data isn't all I do. If you look at the header on this site and view my bio you will see that I have many interests. All of them make me a giant nerd - and I wear that moniker proudly!

Cheers to data!
